This is a blog to document and share a once-in-a-lifetime trip. My mother and I are driving across the country, starting in Virginia Beach turning around in Alaska and returning.

- We decided to take off and travel the country. This might be the only time that we are both available to take an adventure like this together. Family is important, spend the time you have with each other.
