Day 3

Day started off with waffles in the lobby of our motel. We got on the road this morning at 845. After 420 miles we are all checked into another room. Mom and I went exploring and to find her friend. Finally after two messages we heard from her and are about to go have dinner. How exciting for my mother. She has not seen this relative for 50 years. Its like a walk down memory lane for her and an education about my family tree. My grandfather (her dad) was from Nebraska. He died when my mom was 20 so I have never really know that side of the family. I will now. More later tonight. Jake
