Day 2

Today was a long day. I think mostly due in part to yesterdays extreme mileage. The day started at my brothers and then to breakfast near his house. Then mom and I drove up to Michigan and ate lunch with some friends. We were there for about three hours. It was wonderful to see everyone that came out. If I missed you we plan to swing through on the return leg. I hope to see you then. After lunch we headed west again. We expected heavy traffic around Chicago but we made it through with zero congestion. Straight through to our destination. It was nice to drive west into a time change gaining an hour. This made it seem as if the day was shorter. Well off to bed, getting ready for more driving tomorrow. Jake
